The Senior High School of the Joji Ilagan College of Business and Tourism, and the Bachelor of Science in International Tourism, the International Management Schools’ management joined together to celebrate united nations 2022 last October 21.
The activity commenced with an exhibition of various contents: Asia and the Pacific, Europe, The Americas, and Africa, where student exhibitors showcased the various tourist destinations of their chosen countries. The celebration was also the culminating activity of their subject, Global Tourism, Geography, and Culture. Each booth also prepared fun games and tricks for the attendees to hype up their interests.
Part two of the culmination in the afternoon began with a parade of Nations where students flaunted and nailed their vibrant traditional costumes of different nations. As this year’s theme is “End Racism. Build Peace,” a high school and college representative shared a speech about Racism and Peace. Moreover, student presentations added color to the celebration by exhibiting their talents. The event was concluded with a community song, “Let There Be Peace,” to remind everyone of the importance of appreciating our differences and how that can help us create a world free of racism and will help promote peace in the world.
